David G. Brock, MD
Medical Director, Neuronetics, Inc.
David G. Brock, MD is Medical Director of Neuronetics, reporting to the Chief Medical Officer.
Dr. Brock is board certified in both Neurology, with added qualification in cerebrovascular disease, and in neurocritical care. He has over 15 years experience treating patients with complex neurological conditions. Prior to joining Neuronetics he was a neurologist on the faculty at Thomas Jefferson University, where he was associate director of the Stroke Center and an Institutional Review Board chairman.
In addition to his work in neurovascular disease, Dr. Brock has an interest in electroencephalography and seizures in the ICU setting. He has been an investigator in numerous clinical trials and has published in the fields stroke and neurocritical care. He is co-editor of Gray’s Clinical Neuroanatomy.
Ian A. Cook, MD
Professor-in-Residence in the Department of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA
Dr. Ian Cook is a Professor-in-Residence in the Department of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, and is a Research Scientist at the UCLA Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior (formerly known as the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute) and the UCLA Brain Research Institute. His work has largely focused on the treatment of mental illnesses and disorders of complex human behavior; this site describes his research, clinical, and teaching activities, as well as his application of information technology in health care and education.
In January 2007, Dr. Cook became the first Director of the UCLA Unipolar Depression Research and Clinic Program, a component of the Integrative Study Center for Mood Disorders at UCLA’s Semel Institute. In May, 2008, he was named the inaugural holder of the Joanne and George Miller and Family Endowed Chair in Depression Research at the UCLA Brain Research Institute.
Dr. Cook received his undergraduate degree from Princeton University and went to medical school at the Yale School of Medicine, before coming to UCLA for his residency in the UCLA/NPI and West LA VAMC psychiatry residency program.
Karl Lanocha, MD
Medical Director, The TMS Center of New England
Karl Lanocha, M.D. is a neuropsychiatrist who specializes in treatment resistant depression. He has over 25 years of experience in neuromodulation and brain stimulation therapy and trained in TMS at the Berenson-Allen Center for Noninvasive Brain Stimulation at Beth-Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. In May 2010, Dr. Lanocha was a member of an expert panel speaking on the clinical use of TMS at the 163rd Annual Meeting of the American Psychiatric Association. As one of the first providers of TMS Therapy in the nation after FDA approval in 2008, Dr. Lanocha is recognized by his peers as one of the most experienced TMS specialists in the nation.
Dr. Lanocha received his medical training at the University of Maryland School of Medicine in the Combined Accelerated Program in Psychiatry, with a clinical clerkship at Guy’s Hospital in London, England. He completed his residency training in psychiatry at the Sheppard and Enoch Pratt Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland and a Fellowship in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy at the Tavistock Clinic in London, England. For 20 years he was the Medical Director for Psychiatric Services at Concord Hospital in Concord, NH. He also served as the psychiatric consultant for St. Paul’s School in Concord, NH. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and the American Board of Sleep Medicine. He has been named by his peers as one of New Hampshire Magazine’s “Top Docs”.
Michelle Cochran, MD, FAPA
Medical Director, NeuroScience & TMS Treatment Center
Michelle R. M. Cochran MD, FAPA currently works in private practice. She has experience treating a variety of psychiatric conditions, which affect adults of all ages.
Dr. Cochran received her undergraduate degree from Centre College in Danville, Kentucky, and completed her medical training at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. She received postgraduate medical education at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee, where she completed a residency in Psychiatry. During this residency she was Chief Resident. Additionally, she completed the Management Program for Physicians and Senior Healthcare Administrators at Vanderbilt University’s Owen School of Management. A Diplomat of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Dr. Cochran is a member of the Tennessee Psychiatric Association, Tennessee Medical Association, Nashville Academy of Medicine, and Tennessee Women in Medicine.
Since her residency years, she has been a member of the American Psychiatric Association, and in early 2011, she was inducted as a Fellow in this organization. Dr. Cochran has been on the Clinical Faculty in the Department of Psychiatry at Vanderbilt University Medical Center since 1996 and has lectured to undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate students as well as private practitioners. For over 15 years, she has been active on numerous advisory boards professionally and personally. Before retiring from inpatient psychiatric care and establishing her outpatient private practice, she was the medical director for many psychiatric units and programs in the Middle Tennessee area.
Dr. Cochran and her staff have trained extensively in the use of repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS).
Chuck Cochran, MBA
Program Director, NeuroScience & TMS Treatment Center
Chuck Cochran is currently the Program Director of the NeuroScience & TMS Treatment Center in Nashville Tennessee where he manages patient education, office administration, physician outreach and business development.
Mr. Cochran started his career as a Career Counselor after graduating form The University of Tennessee in management science. He is author of 4 bestselling resume and career books in their category from McGraw Hill and Davies Black Publishing, and has helped thousands of professionals make successful career and entrepreneurial transitions. After years of helping people change careers or start their own business, he went back to school and received his MBA from Owen Graduate School of Management (at Vanderbilt University) with an emphasis in Healthcare. Subsequently he worked with fast growing healthcare technology startups contracting with Medical Schools and Scientific Associations to capture their symposia and meetings for archival, research and repurposing.
He is active as a founder and board member of several successful entrepreneurial ventures. He develops real estate, owns and operates a medical clinic.
Mary Hailey
VP of Health Policy and Government Relations, Neuronetics, Inc.
Mrs. Hailey has over 25 years of experience in designing and implementing healthcare reimbursement strategies. Prior to joining Neuronetics, she served as the Vice President of Healthcare Policy and Government Relations for Monterey Advisors. She was also at Medtronic where she was the Vice President of Health Care Policy and Government Relations for the Kyphon business unit, following its 2007 acquisition. She joined Kyphon in 1999 as Director of Reimbursement. Prior to Kyphon, she served as Director of Third Party Relations and Reimbursement for Sulzer Spine-Tech and also owned and ran Hailey & Heinrich consultancy. Mrs. Hailey holds a bachelor of science for the University of Wisconsin Stout and is a certified case manager and certified disability management specialist.
